Colin Greenlaw - violin, electronics
Colin performs jazz music primarily on the violin and other instruments like the mandolin. He has a background in classical violin as well as celtic fiddle. Colin Greenlaw also covers gypsy swing, blues, latin, lounge, folk, rock, and flamenco influences in his original compositions. He currently attends Berklee College of Music in Boston majoring in Violin Performance. Before Berklee, Colin studied at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia Canada where he was also studying jazz. Colin Greenlaw was born in Meaford Ontario but has also lived in Vancouver Bristish Columbia, Regina Saskatchewan, Antigonish Nova Scotia, and presently resides in Oshawa Ontario when he is not studying music in Boston. As a result, Colin has studied with many violin teachers of varying styles and gigged with musicians of a wide range of styles. Right now, Colin Greenlaw is working with projects based out of Boston primarily but also is involved in the Toronto music scene.
