Martha Colby is a freelance musician and teacher living in in New York City. She is the leader of an “acid-folk” band – formerly called “Thing Three” – that plays its own brand of rock, jazz, folk and “something else.” She is the cellist in the Bannerman String Quartet and is principal cellist in the Hudson Opera Theater.
