EntropiK is the creative partnership of Deryn and Dan, formerly known as Cellofiend. They are experimental and innovative musicians with decades of experience between them. South African born Deryn has been playing the cello for over 20 years, and has diverse experience as an orchestral, chamber and solo musician, as well as many years working as an improvising cellist with rock and acoustic bands in South Africa and the UK. Dan has been a writer, guitarist and engineer/ producer for as long as he can remember. He has worked as a frontman in bands and written a vast collection of songs in varying styles. The pair have been working together since February 2006, and are focusing on writing music for media projects.

Currently, Dan and Deryn are writing, arranging and recording music for various media projects including independent films and multimedia projects. They wrote, arranged and recorded a vocal training CD for Vocaltutor, which is available for sale now. They also had three pieces written for cello and synth (Reflections on Time) released on a German music and art compilation - Nachtvorstellung earlier this year. In addition to this, they perform in and around Leeds on a regular basis.
