Sundqvist is an unique formation of celli playing rockmusic, inspired by bands such as Nightwish and -of course- Apocalyptica. Their sound can be described as a combination of classical music and metal, played with the intention to rock the world.

Sundqvist was founded by Saskia Le Poole and Elianne Anemaat in the summer of 2004. Michaël was the third cellist to join Sundqvist. Just recently Joris Goetze and Joris Ligthart were added to the formation, after former bandmembers Ivo and Gideon had left, and thus the band is complete.
