Classically trained cellist and singer-songwriter Lindsay Mac offers a fresh look at acoustic music by combining folk and pop somg structure with a plucked and bowed cello. Diverse and memorable, her music has roots in jazz, folk, Americana, funk, and rock while not tasting like any specific genre. She has opemed for k.d. lang, Catie Curtis, and Daemon Records' agroup Girlyman. Most recently she was featured on the February 2006 cover of Strings Magazine.
