“I Ain't Got No Home”

Ellen Fullman - long string instrument
Konrad Sprenger - long string insrument

Ellen is the inventor of what she calls the Long String Instrument - a gargantuan affair, with dozens of strings suspended as long as 100 feet over two large free-standing bridges. Sound is finessed out of the instrument by applying friction to the strings longitudinally (as opposed to transversely like a traditionally bowed instrument) using rosin'd hands .

A diagram of the specs of the Long String Instrument can be found here.

This is a cover of the Woody Guthrie song of the same name. This and other country-western covers played on the Long String Instrument can be found on her 2004 album Ort
