Over the Rhine has been performing their delicious blend of pop, folk, and art song since 1990. At the helm of this unique group are keyboardist/bassist Linford Detweiler and vocalist guitarist Karin Bergquist.

Their newest recording Drunkard's Prayer is an intimate affair featuring upright bass, piano, acoustic guitars, and a few horns.

In 1996, Over the Rhine released a Christmas-oriented disc entitled The Darkest Night of the Year - prominantly featuring the bowed double bass of Chris Dahlgren - a jazz recording artist in his own right who has played with top-notch groups all over the US - notably the Jazz Mandolin Project.
